CHERRY AND VIRGIN
Cherry and Virgin is a romantic comedy that portrays the love story between Ryou, a 32-year-old eromanga author who struggles with social interactions, and Ami, a 28-year-old fujoshi who has a negative impression of men. Despite their initial difficulties in communicating with each other, they eventually learn to navigate complex relationships and gain insight into the nuances of modern romance.
Director Masanao Kawajiri implements the use of rotoscoping as a technique to animate the film, filming the actors, and then drawing over the live-action film.
