The narrative centers around a typical Shanghai household. Feifei Han, who has devoted herself to advertising, faces a crisis in her first year at work. Meanwhile, her parents are putting more pressure on her to get married. This double assault causes chaos in Feifeis life. When she feels overwhelmed, her father Dongliang Han appears to offer support. Through these interconnected recollections, Feifei comes to understand the love and guidance from her dad. Ultimately, with the help of family and friends, she overcomes her confusion and moves forward with renewed energy.
