Wei Ran, a recent college graduate, stumbled upon an alternate reality by chance through a cat. In his quest to return home, he discovered that the only train available would arrive in six months. Temporarily stranded, he resided in Mao Mao Yaya's shop - Guaixiang Sale. Just as life started to settle down, Wei Ran found out that dragon scales would manifest wherever he went. Each time these scales appeared, they caused distinct strange effects.
