Once upon a time, there was a boy named Aoi who grew up on Earth as an ordinary child. Unbeknownst to him, he was destined to inherit the throne of Mito, the Queen-turned-Space Pirate from an alien race that changes their gender at puberty. As fate would have it, Aoi fell in love with Mutsuki, a police officer who was pursuing Mito, and together they saved the Universe. However, as a result of this encounter, Aoi transformed into a stunning young woman. Now, a nefarious entity calling herself the true Queen of the Universe emerges, possessing immense power to annihilate entire planets. In order to safeguard her new throne, Aoi enlists Mutsuki's assistance. However, before they can embark on their mission to protect Earth and become the galaxy's first royal pair of queens, Mutsuki must confront her own emotions for Aoi and resolve them.
