In a small town junior high school, two students pledge lifelong friendship. Despite being destined for a shared dream, their relationship remains stagnant after two years without any significant development. The girl, Himari Inuzuka, is bubbly and still searching for her first love, while the boy, Yuu Natsume, enjoys flowers as part of the gardening club in high school's second year. Yuu expresses that if he cannot get married, he will take responsibility. However, when he reunites with his first crush, their relationship suddenly goes awry. Now that Himari has found love, she may struggle to escape her "ideal friend" status.
