After finishing reading her favorite manga series, Fuuko Izumo feels ready to end her life. For over 10 years, she has been suffering from a condition that brings misfortune to anyone who touches her. This has had a significant impact on those around her, even resulting in the death of her parents. As she stands on a bridge above train tracks, Fuuko is touched by an unknown man, causing him to fall off and be hit by an incoming train. However, when she discovers his body, she realizes that he has regenerated and is coming back to life. The man, whom Fuuko names Andy, is immortal-like her-and desires death as well. Initially hesitant, Fuuko eventually decides to work with Andy to give him the best possible death; however, a mysterious organization is lurking in the shadows, hoping to exploit their unique abilities.
