Anya Forger, who has the ability to read minds, is the only person in her family that knows their true identities. Her "father" Loid operates undercover as an elite spy known as Twilight while her mother Yor is an assassin called Thorn Princess and their dog Bond possesses precognition. Despite keeping this secret from each other, it allows Anya to experience the love and warmth she longed for after being an orphan. Loid's mission Operation Strix requires Anya to excel academically in order to become an Imperial Scholar at her school or make friends with Donovan Desmond's son Damian. Although challenging, Anya fully commits herself to the task as a Forger, all for the sake of international peace.
