During the 20th century, there was a significant increase in musical theater performances worldwide. Notable performers known as Dai Stars captivated audiences with their exceptional acting and singing abilities. Among these exceptional performers, the greatest were given the title World Dai Star. Kokona Ootori, a young and inexperienced individual, aspired to become a World Dai Star. Despite numerous unsuccessful attempts, Kokona was given another opportunity to audition for Sirius, a renowned theater troupe. Inspired by her best friend Shizuka, Kokona began taking steps towards her goal and diligently worked on improving her acting skills. However, the competitive nature of the theater industry meant that many other aspiring performers also sought recognition, including Kathrina Griebel from Germany. To achieve her dream of standing on stage, Kokona needed to earn her place above all else.
