In four years, the world has lost its equilibrium due to deforestation of 10 thousand meters of woodland. As a result, humans are unable to live and have left behind a desert that continues to expand. People turn to Meshichi, a place where they can coexist with Anbots. By chance, Sanzou and Gokyuu meet while traveling together. Sanzou is an enigmatic young man, while Gokyuu is the strongest yet worst Anbot. Along with Tongoh, who enjoys drinking, Jou, skilled in machines, Suuji, a cunning thief, and Mioto, their journey begins to the far East, towards the land where the sun was born.
