Despite being pursued by the Hunting Dogs, the Armed Detective Agency isn't completely out of options. Their leader, Detective Ranpo Edogawa, has devised a plan to clear their names and prevent global turmoil: capturing Kamui, head of Decay of the Angel, a terrorist organization. To locate Kamui, Ranpo and his partner Atsushi Nakajima must persuade Ouchi Fukuchi, captain of the Hunting Dogs, for leniency. Although Fukuchi was assigned to apprehend members of the agency, his past with Yukichi Fukuzawa, president of the agency, could help him trust them. However, it seems that Fukuchi may not be as virtuous as he claims.

Bungou Stray Dogs 5th Season was released on Blu-ray and DVD in four volumes from September 27, 2023, to December 22, 2023.
