Masatora Akutsu is a demon who has entered a human high school with the intention of discovering individuals capable of supporting Hell in its struggle against Heaven's angels. He sits beside Lily Amane, another student new to the school, and becomes enamored with her physical attractiveness. However, he soon discovers that there is more to Lily than what initially meets the eye. As a result, Akutsu may have unwittingly become an ally of one of his intended enemies while possibly developing romantic feelings for her.
