An extraterrestrial being known as Dryus attacked Earth. In response, Fighbird, the leader of Space Patrol, pursued Dryus to our planet. To aid in the fight against Dryus, Fighbird teamed up with an android that Dr. Amano was developing. Fighbird took on the name Hidori Ryutaro and engaged in battle to safeguard Earth's peace. Initially appearing as a typical human, Hidori Ryutaro possessed alien characteristics that set him apart from ordinary individuals. Typically, he worked alongside Dr. Amano as an assistant. He was always dressed in a coat and glasses. However, when an enemy emerged, his demeanor shifted dramatically.
