To pursue his deceased friend Masato's path, Ryo enlisted with automobile manufacturer Yaesu. He joined the Makuhari test course where Masato had been active. Gray Gear, the leader of the group, instructed Ryo to visit the test course at night if he wished to learn more about Masato. When Ryo climbed aboard the Vector Versus and navigated the track, he surpassed 300 kilometers per hour and was instantly transported into an enigmatic realm!
