Kim Dokja doesn't see himself as the main character in his own story. He is a solitary person who enjoys reading web novels, specifically Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse (TWSA). For over ten years, he has lived through Joonghyuk, the main character in TWSA, experiencing secondhand the challenges of repeatedly regressing in time in order to end dangerous "scenarios." After reading 3,149 chapters, Dokja resigns himself to the story ending. However, he receives a mysterious message from the author stating that TWSA will soon be monetized. Suddenly, his surroundings go dark, indicating that fiction has become reality. Although he is now the only person who can predict what will happen next in TWSA, there is no guarantee that he will succeed in the scenarios. Nevertheless, he may use this advantage to finally step into the role of protagonist that never suited him before.
