Following his victory over Geese Howard, renowned combatant Terry Bogard encounters German warrior Wolfgang Krauser in battle. Despite putting up a valiant effort, Terry ultimately suffers a crushing defeat. Devastated by the loss, he turns to alcohol as a means of coping with his disappointment. However, it is only through the encouragement of a young boy named Tony that Terry finds the motivation to overcome his fears and challenge Krauser once more.
