Kinnikuman II Sei is a sequel series that takes place several years after the events of the original Kinnikuman. In this story, we are introduced to Mantarou Kinniku, who is the 59th prince of Planet Kinniku and son of King Suguru, a renowned wrestler. Despite being lazy, immature, and cowardly, Mantarou shares his father's legacy as a powerful warrior. When a group known as dMP threatens Earth, only someone with the power of Kinnikuman can stop them. However, King Suguru is not available to defend the planet, so it is decided that Mantarou should take up the mantle and become the new hero. Initially, Mantarou does not want to fight super villains and runs away from his duty. He eventually flees to Earth where he meets Meat, his father's old trainer. Despite Mantarou's shortcomings, Meat sees potential in him and believes that with the right guidance, he can become a hero like his father. This marks the beginning of Mantarou's journey to improve himself and save the world.
