The narrative revolves around a young girl named Anya, who has lost both parents. Meanwhile, another orphaned princess is captivated by an image of a Galanthus and yearns for one. Despite the fact that this flower only blossoms in spring, specifically during the month of April, it becomes impossible to acquire one as New Year's Eve approaches and winter has set in. In an attempt to fulfill her desire, the princess offers a basket filled with gold to anyone who can provide her with a bag of Galanthus.
