The invasion of the Galactic Empire by the Free Planets Alliance was unsuccessful due to supply management issues that resulted in significant losses. Despite being outnumbered, Fleet Admiral Lazar Lobos orders his remaining fleet to gather in the Amritsar Starzone for a final stand against the incoming counterattack. Strategic genius Fleet Admiral Reinhard von Lohengramm leads Imperial forces into this decisive battle with an overwhelming advantage, but his rival, tactical magician Vice Admiral Yang Wen-li of the Alliance, manages to escape with his troops despite their incompetence.
