Nakamura is a shy and somber pupil with two treasured possessions in life - his octopus pet and his compassionate classmate, Hirose. Since the start of school, he has admired Hirose from afar due to his inadequate social skills. Despite his initial trepidation, he gathers enough courage to approach Hirose for conversation. However, his first attempt at making contact results in an unintentional blunder that transforms friendship into a distant aspiration, leaving him with a comical impression on his crush. At school, students are obligated to collaborate on various tasks together, providing Nakamura with additional time to interact with Hirose. Given these chances, can he effectively redeem himself and achieve his objective of establishing a friendly relationship with Hirose?
