During a vacation with his adopted daughter, private detective susuki gets caught in a secluded ski resort along with several other travelers due to a storm that shuts down the facility. the situation remains peaceful until one of the tourists is discovered dead. as a skilled investigator, susuki begins to search for the murderer. in doing so, he uncovers various secrets about the other guests and also learns some things about his own past. however, as susuki tries to identify the killer, the other vacationers start accusing him of being the culprit.
