Miaka and Taka (Tamahomes reborn out-of-the-book self) return to the Universe of the Four Gods with the goal of restoring Tamahomes lost memories to Taka. However, their task is not as simple as they imagine, as the evil Tenkou arrives to disrupt their efforts. Despite their best attempts, he manages to thwart most of their progress and uses his newfound power to call upon the Gods from beyond the book.

At the end of each episode, a short animation is presented. Consisting of one modified scene from the respective episode, a dramatic moment is transformed into a comedic one.
