Following the confrontation between Mash Burnedead and Magia Lupus, information about his powers has become public knowledge. Although there is initially joyous celebration, this is short-lived when the Bureau of Magic calls upon Mash before an assembly of Divine Visionaries who declare that he must face consequences and die. However, Innocent Zero, a sinister organization, takes control of the situation and demands that Mash be spared. Despite his ability to handle Innocent Zero, the Divine Visionaries' decision remains unchanged. Fortunately, Mash gains unexpected allies in Divine Visionary Rayne Ames and Headmaster Wahlberg Baigan who manage to delay his execution until Innocent Zero is defeated. As a result of this, Mash is now allowed to live under one condition - he must be chosen as the Divine Visionary candidate by the end of the year.
