Dr. Tatsunoko of the Tatsunoko Research Center ventures underwater with his daughter Asari in search of mysterious radiation. During their exploration, they discover a giant shell that contains the source of the radiation. Inside the shell, Asari finds an object resembling a compact containing a message from a space alien on the Planet of Parlum. The message states that Ace, a powerful being with superhuman abilities, is lying inside the globe and his energy comes from something called "space food." He can fly using a Silver Ring made from instantly collected energy in the atmosphere. Additionally, he possesses the ability to use this power as a weapon against enemies. With support from friends such as Asari, Ibo the robot dog, and Hermit Crab Reporter, Ace embarks on a heroic mission to overcome challenges caused by mystical robots and invading space creatures.
