In 2111, the solar system is inhabited by people who have established settlements on its various moons and planets. However, these areas are lawless and the police force is unable to maintain order. To combat the criminal elements within the solar system, Isaac Godonov develops J9, a team consisting of himself, Blaster Kid, Stephen Bowie, and Angel Omachi. This group specializes in carrying out dangerous missions that the regular police cannot handle. They are accompanied by their robot Braiger, who assists them in their endeavors. Meanwhile, there is a plan being hatched in Nubia, Earth to destroy Jupiter as part of an effort to create 30 new planets for human colonization. However, this scheme will ultimately lead to the destruction of Earth itself.
