In 2052, the world experiences an unprecedented era of peace and prosperity due to mankind being freed from illnesses and pain by dr. skinner's hapuna drug. this medication quickly becomes ubiquitous and essential. however, after its official introduction, dr. skinner disappears. three years later, he returns as a harbinger of doom, announcing that hapuna has a short half-life and everyone who took it will die in approximately three years. to save humanity from this impending disaster, a special task force called "lazarus" is formed with 5 agents from around the world. their mission is to find dr. skinner and develop a vaccine before time runs out.
