Mitsuo met Superman, an extraterrestrial being associated with a group that aims to preserve harmony across the cosmos. Following their encounter, he was provided with a helmet (which also functions as a mask) that enhances physical capabilities, a cape that enables flight, and a badge that permits underwater breathing and communication with fellow team members. Superman emphasized the importance of maintaining anonymity to prevent catastrophic consequences should their identity be disclosed. To achieve this, they were given a robotic duplicate that can substitute them when necessary, although it is not without its flaws and complications. With these tools in hand, Mitsuo and his peers strive to uphold peace and assist those in need.
