Michi and her family have recently relocated to the Happiness House, a massive tree that houses various small structures within it. While exploring her new bedroom, Michi stumbles upon an unusual nut-like object. Not long after, Nanami-chan emerges from it, and the two quickly form a close bond. As they spend time together, Michi and Nanami-chan discover many fascinating things about their surroundings and encounter other peculiar residents of the Happiness House.
