After Vega's troops attacked Fleed, Duke Fleed and Grendizer fled to Earth. Upon arrival, Dr. Amon of the Space Research Center took them in and renamed Daisuke. While working together at the center in pursuit of mysterious objects in the sky, they were taken aback when an assault triggered Daisuke's recollections.
