A failed experiment involving DNA modifications on plants has drastically altered the course of history. Following its devastating impact on the moon, the aggressive and intelligent plant life spread to Earth, leading to the destruction of human civilization. Only a few humans remain, living in uneasy truce with the restless forest. One day, Agito, a villager, discovers a hidden stasis unit deep within the forest and awakens Tula, a girl from the past who has been asleep for 300 years. In this new world, Ragna, a high-tech village, is still engaged in a bitter war with the forest. Upon learning of Tula's presence, they realize that she holds the key to activating her father's final and ultimate weapon, designed to destroy the forest and save humanity from certain doom. When Tula is captured by Ragna's warriors, Agito makes a pact with the forest to gain the strength and powers necessary to rescue her and prevent the activation of the destructive weapon.
