Born from the fires of space, Kongo was a stone monkey brought to life through magic. Driven by his desire for knowledge and greatness, he left his home on Flower Fruit Mountain in search of ancient wisdom. Instead of simply studying, Kongo mastered the Jet Cloud, one of his first magical weapons. With this power, he returned home just as humans were threatening to take over the monkeys' ancestral land. Using his newfound knowledge and his Jet Cloud, Kongo defeated the humans and declared himself King of Flower Fruit Mountain. However, the gods in the Celestial Heavens found this development unsettling and decided that the monkeys needed a lesson. As a result, they launched an attack on Kongo and all the monkeys of Flower Fruit Mountain.
