In this story, there's a civil war happening in Zipangu, a land where humans live alongside gimmick warrior robots known as Samurai warriors. The struggle for power is intense among people and these super-human machines. Musashi, one such Samurai warrior, embarks on a quest to become the best of his kind. During this journey, he encounters many other heroes and villains, including his longtime rival Kojiro, an expert swordsman. Eventually, Musashi and Kojiro are tasked with escorting the Princess, who is the granddaughter of their general. However, the princess is difficult and spoiled, which leads to a series of misadventures for them. As they travel, they become embroiled in a battle over control of the country.
