In "Legend of Xanadu," Reichswar, an evil magician, has seized control of the kingdom after murdering its king in order to obtain a powerful crystal with magical properties. Now he intends on using this crystal's power to rule over all of Xanadu. Meanwhile, Queen Rieru is kidnapped by Reichswar, leaving only one brave young warrior, armed with the legendary blade Dragonslayer, to attempt her rescue.
