In this realm, there is a harmonious blend of magic and science. Rayotte Steinberg, an independent "tactical sorcerist", engages in combat against monstrous beings that were once humans who abused their power through the use of forbidden magic to transform into these creatures. The garment he dons is referred to as a "mold," which serves as a restraint that keeps him human. In his hand, he wields a magical staff known as a "staff," capable of causing explosions with every spell cast. If he employs magic, he advances one step towards becoming a monster himself. Conversely, if he refrains from casting spells, he will face certain death amidst the intense battles that lie ahead. As he navigates through these trials, Rayotte must confront his past sins and atone for them.
