Iris and his dad, Lightning are merchants. They encountered a brilliant storm named Yuan near Granoa. Yuan believed they were robbers and attacked them. In response, Lightning used his mystical weapon to push back against Yuan. However, immediately after that, he was engulfed in black light and vanished along with the device and a note saying "Visit Oldman in Granoa." To search for his father, Iris decided to travel to Granoa.
