Five years ago during a summer festival, two girls encountered an enigmatic tree and observed two luminous orbs. these young ladies, saki hyuuga, a skilled softball pitcher at school, and mai mishou, who prefers drawing to stargazing, have been selected by the spirits of flowers (flappy) and birds (choppy) to revive the seven fountains and safeguard their realms from dark autumn. as a result, they have become the new pretty cure.
