The story follows a brave young hero who embarks on a journey to obtain the legendary Water of Life for his village, which is essential for their happiness. Along the way, he encounters deities and demons. Eventually, he discovers that an evil snake has taken possession of the water, prompting him to venture to its palace in pursuit of it. Despite the challenges posed by the snake's ability to regenerate itself with the Water of Life, Tarou perseveres and collaborates with other creatures and gods to achieve his goal.
