Ten years have passed since the conclusion of the Holy War in Hong Kong, and Mochizuki Jirou, also known as the Silver Blade, returns to Japan with his younger brother, Kotarou. Upon their arrival, they learn that some of the surviving Kowloon Children are attempting to gain entry into the "Special Zone," a prosperous city enclosed by an impenetrable barrier that only allows entry to those who have been invited. The Mochizuki Brothers, being Old Bloods - descendants of an elite clan of vampires - find themselves in a battle once more when Kotarou is kidnapped by one of the Kowloon Children.

Black Blood Brothers was released on Blu-ray and DVD by Funimation Entertainment on August 31, 2010.
