My-Otome Zwei is a sequel to My-Otome, set one year after its events. In this installment, Arika has become a fully trained Otome under Miss Maria's guidance, while Nagi remains imprisoned in an unknown location within Aries. The nations have agreed to hold S.O.L.T. talks to discuss limiting the number of Otomes. A mission to prevent a meteor from colliding with Earl sets off a chain reaction that leads to the emergence of a shadowy figure who attacks Garderobe and several Otome, as well as the appearance of a more powerful version of Slave across the planet. Additionally, Queen Mashiro disappears following an argument with Arika, prompting her search for the missing monarch and Garderobe's efforts to uncover the truth behind the shadowy figure.
