During the Bakumatsu era, Yojiro Akizuki was a roaming mercenary who traveled throughout Japan. He used his sword for both combat and to locate supernatural items that he pursued with great intensity, sometimes resulting in violent confrontations. As he journeyed, he encountered a traveling theater group whose members had their own hidden motives. Was this encounter by chance or the result of some yet unknown conspiracy?
