Nanomachines were widely used for disease treatment. Keita is a young doctor who specializes in using virtual technology to save lives by entering patients' bodies through a medical station (VMS). As more people receive care, enigmatic details about them emerge. In the second part of the anime, an Ethanarian alien and its affiliated federation are introduced.
