On one particular day, a high school student named Yuuka "Yuu" Hirasaka is suddenly transported to the realm of Twisted Wonderland after her black carriage collides with her. Although she yearns to return home in Japan, she ends up enrolling at Night Raven College, which is renowned for its magic programs. As she adjusts to her new environment, the annual Spelldrive tournament at Night Raven College is about to commence. This tournament involves each dorm's seven best athletes competing in both physical and magical strength tests while being broadcast throughout the magical world. Over the past two years, Diasomnia dorm has emerged victorious solely due to their powerful housewarden, Malleus Draconia. However, several mysterious incidents have occurred on campus that have incapacitated the top Spelldrive players from all dormitories. Suspicious of these events not being mere accidents, Night Raven College's headmage assigns Yuu and her roommate Grim to investigate these occurrences. Meanwhile, one housewarden is determined to defeat Diasomnia at any cost, even if it means resorting to unethical methods.
