In the land of Neo Verona, situated on floating islands above the sea, the Montague family brutally slaughters all members of the Capulet household and seizes control over the kingdom. Juliet Fiammata Asto Capulet, the legitimate heir to the throne, escapes the massacre and is secreted away by loyal supporters for 14 years with the hope that one day she may rise against the oppressive Montague regime. Despite having no memory of her family's murder, Juliet now operates as a vigilante known as the Red Whirlwind, fighting for justice on behalf of Neo Verona's downtrodden citizens. During one of her missions, she encounters Romeo Candorebanto Montague, the compassionate and selfless son of tyrannical Prince Laertes Montague, without any knowledge of their respective backgrounds. Both individuals fall deeply in love at first sight. However, fate has other plans: not only do both families harbor a deep-seated hatred for one another, but an ancient secret hidden beneath Neo Verona threatens to tear apart the lovers' newfound bond.
