Michi and her family have recently relocated to the Happiness House, a massive tree that houses various small structures within it. During her exploration of her new bedroom, Michi discovers an unusual nut-like object. Not long after, Nanami-chan emerges from it, leading to a quick friendship between the two. Through their interactions, Michi and Nanami-chan learn about the diverse inhabitants of the Happiness House.
