Chinami Ebihara is an 18 year old girl who has a unique talent to produce electromagnetic waves when she gets emotional. This power, however, causes disruptions with electrical devices, which led her to transfer from school to school as a child. Now, as she starts at a new school, Chinami's ability triggers again and captures the attention of another student, Kotaro Kannagi, who becomes fascinated by studying her "TYPE-E" power.
