Bakugan Battle Brawlers is a television series that follows Danma Kuusou, a boy who invented the game Bakugan with his friend Shun Kazami after mysterious cards fell from the sky. Along with their other friends, they form a team called "Bakugan Battle Brawlers" to play this new game together. However, little did they know that Bakugan was much more than just a pastime. Their game accidentally transports them into an alternate dimension known as Vestroia, the home of Bakugan. This realm is under attack by creatures called Doom Beings and is balanced by the Perfect Core, formed by the Infinity and Silent Cores. When evil Bakugan Naga attempted to steal the Infinity Core to complete the Perfect Core and gain control over Vestroia, Earth, and other worlds, he was trapped in the Silent Core, causing destabilization in Vestroia and attempting to merge with Earth and other realms. Danma and his friends must team up with individuals from other worlds who have also been drawn into this epic battle to stop Naga before it's too late. Time is of the essence in this devastating war of worlds.

The second and third seasons of Bakugan Battle Brawlers aired overseas before coming to Japan, while the fourth and final season of the show didnt air in Japan.
