Yous is a high school student from modern-day Japan with a dream of being a musician but faces opposition from his family and conflicts within his band. One day, while walking through Shibuya, he hears a desperate voice calling for help and is engulfed by a blinding white light. Meanwhile, Meguriboshi is on the brink of war over Hoshichi, an energy source, with a ceasefire about to be negotiated when a massive orbital debris field threatens disaster. Laco, a young mechanic, rushes to aid the defense force but falls into unconsciousness and connects with Yous, marking their intertwined fates.
