Eric Calderon, a writer and producer, had planned for an animated TV series called "The Five Killers." It was intended as an original creation with 12 episodes and a one-hour finale. The designs were created by manga artist Maeshima Shigeki, while the trailer was directed by Hirata Tomohiro. However, due to GDH's financial situation, only the trailer was produced.
