Sakura's teacher has assigned the third grade to draw an image inspired by their favorite song for a competition. Since Momoko loves a new song she learned during music class, she is excited to create a great drawing based on it. On her way to meet her family in Shizuoka, Momoko meets Shouko Kimura, a university student who occasionally draws portraits at the train station and plans to enter an art contest as well. Sakura is fascinated by Shouko's illustrations and they quickly become friends. Shouko is enchanted with Momoko's sympathy and honesty, inspiring each other in their own unique ways.
