In a messy downtown area, four friends named GUMI, Hatsune Miku, Megurine Luka, and Kagamine Rin run a junk collection business. They collect broken TVs, computers, and other items while playing silly announcements over their truck speaker. Their office is in a corner of a multi-tenant building that calls itself a recycle shop but mostly looks like a warehouse with junk lined up with price tags. As their business grows, they start receiving requests for junk they can't handle on their own. Meanwhile, in the city center, an environmental beautification organization is formed with the goal of cleaning up the downtown area as part of a plan to redevelop it into a beautiful town. However, GUMI and her friends rebel against this plan as they fear it will threaten their way of life in the downtown area. As tensions rise, breaking news emerges that a dangerous creature has been found on the garbage dump, prompting a drastic move to clean up both the dump and the downtown area, turning them into vacant lots.
