After noticing a decrease in monster films being produced, Meng Qi, a passionate filmmaker who specializes in this genre, began doubting his determination. That is until one day, while on set for a demon-themed movie he was working on with Liya, a real-life demon appeared before him! In order to achieve his dream of making a successful monster movie, Meng Qi decided to collaborate with Liya and help her shoot her own demon-themed film. However, as they continued filming, Meng Qi discovered that there was a connection between the otherworld and his own reality.
